Accomplishments
Some of Mark's past cases include:
- Represented The Muppets in a case v. Disney in New York.
The case was settled pre-trial, and The Muppets remained
independent.
- First Massachusetts case securing compensation for a
wrongfully convicted individual cleared by DNA tests.
- High six-figure verdict retaliation claim at the MCAD.
- Part of a team of lawyers who won a $35,000,000 recovery
in a Foundry explosion case.
- In
a 100 page reported decision--In re Schlichtmann, 375 BR 41
(Bankr. D. Mass. 2007) the Court rejected the "Civil Action"
attorney's claim that the respondent, represented by Bluver,
violated Schlichtmann's discharge. This lengthy decision
was issued after a multi-day trial in the US Bankruptcy
Court.
